Anne is joined by architect, Andrew Berman, in a conversation comparing their respective processes for creating meaning through the vehicle of crafted space. As a painter, Anne uses color, form, and texture to bring light into her paintings on stitched, cropped, and sewn unstretched canvas. Andrew designs unique spaces and structures which resolve purpose, place, and materials. His projects come alive in the light and gain character over time through use and weathering. Anne created the work in the exhibition in her Mattituck studio which Andrew designed. For more information, please visit this link
